I have been a member of Word of Life church for 17 years and on staff since 2020. The Lord had called me to be a pastor in my early twenties. I could not believe that Godcould do such a thing in me because of the troubled life I had before giving my life to Him. I struggled to believe that God had called me to ministry. The first step God took in me accepting the call to ministry was to give me my wife, Michelle. She saw what God saw in me and encouraged me to move in that direction. God was not done guiding me in that direction yet. He began to heal my soul to the point that I started believing what God and my wife saw in me. Eventually God was able to close all the doors in my life until I only had one door left and that was His call to ministry. Looking back now it was the best decision I have made. I know what God has done in my life by setting me free from my sin and past and setting me on a path of freedom in the Spirit. It is our passion to help other’s gain the same freedom we have found in Jesus Christ by the power and guidance of The Holy Spirit. My hope is to hear those beautiful word from My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ “well done good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21). The Love of Jesus and this words are what motivates us to love His people the best we can and lead them like he leads us into a deeper more intimate relationship with Him.
