Hi - I'm Jessie Penn, the Word of Life Church Secretary since 2016. I was born & raised in Columbus & went to UNL, where I met my husband, Jeremiah, in class. We married & had 7 children, 6 boys & a girl, with only 3 left at home now. In 2013, we moved back to Columbus for Jeremiah's work. We discovered Word of Life, and we instantly felt right at home. Being discipled in this Pentecostal church under Pastor Mariano has definitely stretched & grown us in the trust and power of God the Holy Spirit, having grown up Catholic & then joining a Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Lincoln after being saved. I have learned to hear God's voice and recognize evidence of His handiwork & wisdom more & more over the years, & He just continues to amaze me more every day. It has been such an honor and pleasure to be able to serve on the staff of Word of Life Church, and to have the opportunity to get to know all of the Word of Life family.
